A bungalow within the Mounted Troop Police Barracks in Ikeja, Lagos State, on Tuesday, partially collapsed and killed one Peace Bulus and broke the arm of her sister.
The victims’ mom, Hauwa, who escaped demise by a whisker alongside the injured sufferer and her two different daughters, was mentioned to have collapsed because of shock.

An eyewitness, Rasheed Adedeji, instructed PUNCH Metro that Peace died on the spot, including that her injured sister alongside their mom, who fainted from shock, had been rushed to the Police Clinic in Ikeja for therapy.
He mentioned, “The incident occurred round 3am when rain was falling. What we noticed once we obtained there was that the lintel of their room collapsed and fell on two of the youngsters, whereas they had been asleep.
“Because the lintel fell, it smashed Peace’s head and broke the arm of one other youngster, and the impact on the mom made her to break down.
“The constructing is an outdated bungalow. The roof of the constructing remains to be intact, however I’m stunned how the lintel of the door fell.”
