An arrest has been made in reference to a fuel station theft early Friday morning in Peterborough
The Peterborough Police Service says round 2 a.m. a person threatened a retailer clerk at a Chemong Street fuel station and stole a big amount of cigarettes and lottery tickets earlier than fleeing on a bicycle.
Round 2:15 p.m. on Friday, police have been referred to as to a parking zone within the space of Monaghan Street and Chamberlain Avenue for stories of a suspicious man trying to enter autos.
Police say officers positioned the person, who matched the outline of the suspect within the fuel station theft. He was arrested with out incident.
David Shares, 36, of Peterborough was arrested and charged with theft with violence and failure to adjust to a probation order to maintain the peace and be of excellent behaviour.
