THE Founder, Afe Babalola College, Ado Ekiti, Aare Afe Babalola, stated on Tuesday that he would convene and sponsor a nationwide convention, christened ‘Summit of Hope’ as a technique to discover resolution to the myriads of issues confronting Nigeria.
Babalola, who introduced a donation of N50m for the confab, which he stated was billed to carry quickly at ABUAD corridor and ABUAD Inn, stated eminent Nigerians, together with former Presidents and main conventional rulers, could be attended to the confab to proffer options to the nation’s issues.
The ABUAD founder spoke in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, through the tenth Aare Afe Babalola Annual Public Lecture organised by the Ado Ekiti department of the Nigerian Bar Affiliation.

Theophilus Danjuma; Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Prof. Wole Soyinka; and Chief Ayo Adebanjo.
Oba Ogunwusi, who chaired the programme, hailed Babalola’s determination, describing it as a patriotic determination focused at restoring normalcy to the polity.
The monarch added that he would, in his capability as Co-Chaiman of Nationwide Conventional Council of Nigeria, report the event to fellow rulers to hunt assist.
